In addition to working for the California Strawberry Commission as the PR and Social Media Manager, I'm also a mother to three wonderful children and the cook, author and photographer behind the food blog Garlic Girl at www.garlicgirl.com.

One of my favorite parts of the job here at the Commission is dabbling in activities related to strawberry recipes, whether it's sharing, discovering, or sometimes even creating them!

When it comes to meals, I think it's important to shop for, cook and eat healthy food as a family. The more we do that, the more we get to sneak in the sweet treats too!

I'm excited to be part of this blog where we hope to meet more cooks, share more recipes and talk about food! We look forward to connecting with you in a more meaningful way.
