Over the Top Strawberry Shake

  • Blender


Strawberry Sauce:

  • 1 ½ cups California strawberries sliced
  • 3 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp cornstarch

Strawberry Whipped Cream:

  • 1 cup cream
  • 1 Tbsp powdered sugar
  • ¼ cup cooled strawberry sauce

Strawberry Shake:

  • 1 pint strawberry ice cream
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup strawberry sauce
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla extract


  • 4 Strawberry Pocky Sticks
  • 4 Strawberry Wafer Cookies
  • 40 Strawberry Candies sour gummies are awesome for this!
  • Strawberry Sauce for garnishing


Strawberry Sauce:

  • Puree all the ingredients for the sauce in a food processor until super smooth. Pour into a small sauce pot and bring to a boil. Shut the heat off and pour the sauce into a shallow container to cool in the fridge, about 30 minutes.

Strawberry Whipped Cream:

  • Using a stand mixer or hand mixer with whip attachment, whip the cream and powdered sugar until medium-stiff peaks form.
  • Add the strawberry sauce and whip until stiff peaks form.
  • Put the strawberry whipped cream into a piping bag fitted with a star tip.

Strawberry Shake:

  • Using a spoon or squeeze bottle, pour a small amount of strawberry sauce on the inside rim of the glass, creating a "drip" effect.
  • Put the ice cream, milk, strawberry sauce, and vanilla into your blender and puree until nice and smooth. Pour into the glass, leaving 1” of room at the top.


  • Pipe a large mound of strawberry whipped cream on top of the shake. Spoon more strawberry sauce onto the whipped cream and stick the Pocky and wafer cookies into the top. Finish the shake with a perfect strawberry and a few sour candies and enjoy before it gets too messy!
