Strawberry Jalapeño Jam:
- 1 cup fresh strawberries chopped
- 1 jalapeño chopped
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- ¼ tsp of salt
- ⅛ tsp pepper
Baked Brie:
- 8 oz brie wheel
- 1 cup Strawberry Jalapeño Jam
- 1 fresh thyme sprig optional
Instructions
Strawberry Jalapeño Jam:
- Place strawberries, jalapeño, lemon juice, sugar, salt, and pepper in a small saucepan.
- Bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally, for about 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and transfer to a jar. Allow the jam to cool for at least 2 hours in the refrigerator.
For Baked Brie:
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Place brie in small, shallow, ovenproof dish.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove from oven and transfer to serving plate.
- Top with 1 cup of the strawberry jalapeño jam.
- Garnish with fresh thyme (optional).
- Serve immediately with crostini or crackers.
Notes
Jam can be made in advance and chilled overnight.
