Baked Brie with Strawberry Jalapeño Jam

The creamy, rich brie pairs perfectly with sweet strawberries and a hint of jalapeño heat. Serve with crostini or your favorite crackers for an elegant appetizer! Recipe by Teresa Barajas.

Strawberry Jalapeño Jam:

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries chopped
  • 1 jalapeño chopped
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • ¼ tsp of salt
  • tsp pepper

Baked Brie:

  • 8 oz brie wheel
  • 1 cup Strawberry Jalapeño Jam
  • 1 fresh thyme sprig optional


Strawberry Jalapeño Jam:

  • Place strawberries, jalapeño, lemon juice, sugar, salt, and pepper in a small saucepan.
  • Bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally, for about 10 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and transfer to a jar. Allow the jam to cool for at least 2 hours in the refrigerator.

For Baked Brie:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Place brie in small, shallow, ovenproof dish.
  • Bake for 15 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and transfer to serving plate.
  • Top with 1 cup of the strawberry jalapeño jam.
  • Garnish with fresh thyme (optional).
  • Serve immediately with crostini or crackers.


Jam can be made in advance and chilled overnight.
