Through this dynamic partnership, the Commission has secured critical grants that fuel workforce development programs, equipping students with the knowledge and tools to tackle real-world challenges that growers see in the fields every day. The Strawberry Center isn’t just a hub for cutting-edge research—it’s a hands-on training ground. More than 110 students have gained meaningful, industry-specific experience, with 40 earning paid internships that prepare them for careers across farms, labs, and agribusinesses.
