Thankful for Strawberries: 6 Recipes to Add to Your Celebrations

Each year, Thanksgiving offers an opportunity for us to stop and reflect on what we are thankful for – our health, our family and friends, the food we eat, and the roof over our heads. For California strawberry farmers, it’s being thankful for the ideal California climate, healthy soil, dedicated farmworkers and the nation’s love for strawberries that make growing this beloved berry possible.

Together, we join around the table, break bread and enjoy each other’s company as we delight in a meal. All the fixings are there – a delicious turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans, stuffing and pumpkin pie.

Strawberries might not be top of mind for the menu this time of year, but beautiful strawberries brighten any table! Since strawberries work well in both sweet and savory dishes (and are available year-round!), there’s definitely a place for them in your Thanksgiving spread.
